This book is a comprehensive guide for improving writing skills by G. Subba Rao, a retired IAS officer. Covered in an easy-to-follow approach, the book has sections on essay writing, paragraph development and sentence construction. The book, hence, starts at a basic level and works systematically towards building the writing calibre in the reader.

In the section of systemic paragraph construction, many aspects have been discussed such as unity, coherence, coordination, emphasis and development by examples. Under essay writing, the book covers many examples from previous papers to explain an easy step-wise system in developing an essay.
